The Sizzle Sells the Steak

imagesThe Sizzle Sells the Steak

If you’ve ever been camping, you’ve noticed that when you separate
logs on a campfire the fire goes out.  Push them back together and
the fire blazes up.  So with ONE log, you have nothing.

If you have two logs, you’ll have a flame, with three you have a fire,
with four you have a BLAZE!

When having a meeting, be sure that there are at least three people
there, and when the fourth person arrives, your meeting is really
blazing!  We call these sessions “sizzle sessions.”  Your MLM program
is the steak, and it’s the SIZZLE that sells the steak.

This is a good place to bring someone who isn’t quite as
hot as you’d like them to be, they’ll catch on fire!

If you’re at a public place like a restaurant, watch for people who
might be listening in on the conversation.  When the Sizzle Session
is over, hang around a bit and see if anyone approaches you.  They
might not approach while there’s a crowd, but they will after the
others leave.

Start the Sizzle Session by having people tell about something good
that has happened in their business.

When you are finished, part with something like this:  “Just think,
this is as hard as we will ever work!”  Those who have joined your
meeting that are involved in a regular JOB will be motivated to hurry
up and get to that same position.

These lessons have been adapted from “The 45 Second Presentation,”
by Don Failla.

I don’t have TIME!

Randall Bramblett - "I Just Don't Have The Time" [Lyric Video ...

Have you heard that before from some team members or prospects?

Everyone has the time if they are serious about getting ahead and building a business.

In other words, find that 1/2 hour – hour or two each day to build a incredible business not only for you, but your family.  It is so worth it!  You can’t rely on Corporate America for retirement anymore.  The way things are today, having a back up plan is a MUST. And a good, solid company to build up over time is an incredible choice for your nest egg and your future.

Activity Time Spent Time Remaining in the week
Sleep
8 hours a day
56 hours a week 112 hours remaining.
Full time job:
8 hours a day
40 hours a week 72 hours remaining.
Commuting:
2 hours a day
10 hours a week 62 hours remaining.
Eating:
2 hours a day
14 hours a week 48 hours remaining.
Family & Entertainment:
2 hours a day
14 hours a week 34 hours remaining.
Miscellaneous:
2 hours a day
14 hours a week 20 hours remaining!

Many business owners are just going to hide behind the excuse that they don’t have the time. They’ll wait until someday they magically clear their calendar, get past the current situations they are dealing with, and then they’ll do the things that will make their business grow.

Sadly their someday never comes…

Instead, you’ve got to make the decision that your someday is now! And that your starting point is today!

What is your WHY?

Is it more money to get that new car, to send your kids to college, to take that special vacation? Whatever it is, keep that WHY in front of you and make the decision to stop being stuck and do something to make your life better and have fun doing it! In other words, our Mia Bella business is a FUN business! Who doesn’t like beautiful scents? Most people do!

Above all, when you do this, and back it up with simple, focused action to incrementally change the way you are building your business, the results will amaze you. You got this!

Success

success

Ok, so you think you have found the opportunity, the sponsor, now what? Most people freeze up at this point in time, saying, “I’ll do it tomorrow or next week.” Pretty soon they find its years later and they are no better off now then they where then. They have not achieved success in their business.

7 Key Steps to Success

1. Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life

2. Be Clear Why You’re Here

3. Decide What You Want

4. Believe It’s Possible

5. Believe in Yourself

6. Use the Law of Attraction (the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on)

7. Unleash the Power of Goal-Setting

Procrastination is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome in all aspects of life. Time is such a precious commodity that really cannot be wasted. We know how compounded interest works with money, building your business also works on the same principle. Success starts slow at first then gains momentum as our skills and education grow. Work your business daily. Find that block of time each day, somehow.  Any business takes time to build and grow.  Work it every single day.  Don’t procrastinate.  Be consistent and persistent and most important, LOVE what you do!

What does Branding Your Business mean?

What does branding your business mean? Why is it important?

The definition of branding is:  The process involved in creating a unique name and IMAGE for a product in the consumers mind. Mainly through advertising campaigns with a consistent theme. Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers.

What is branding your business? So for instance, in my business (candles), I use the same profile picture, or pretty close of myself with my white horse. Over the years, people have come to know me as the ‘candle lady with the white horse’.  Outside my business and my family, my passion is my horses.  People have come to know me as a huge animal & candle lover and I get many shared ‘horsey’ posts to my timeline on Facebook.

In addition, Brand Marketing is the way that businesses or organizations highlight and bring awareness to products or services by connecting values and voice to the right audience through strategic communication.

Above all, show people what you are all about.  Keep showing the same theme.  They will get to know you and whenever they see a picture or video of whatever your brand or look is, that will remind them of you!

Have a great day and hope this helped you today.

Network Marketing Success!

Network Marketing Success - EdZimbardi.com

You probably have an image firmly planted in your mind of what network marketing (also known as direct sales or multilevel marketing) is all about–housewives buying and selling Tupperware while gossiping and eating finger sandwiches, or a high-pressure salesperson trying to convince you how easily you can become a millionaire if only you and your friends and their friends and so on would buy and sell vitamins with him.

Both of these images couldn’t be further from the reality of network marketing. It’s neither a hobby nor a get-rich-scheme but an opportunity for you to earn money running your own part- or full-time business.

But what does it take to succeed in this industry?

Vincent J. Kellsey, director of member services for the Direct Selling Women’s Alliance, an organization that provides a variety of resources to women and men in the direct-selling industry, offers these tips for making it:

Tips….

Choose wisely. There are six key elements you should be looking for when selecting an opportunity. Number one: stability. How old is the company? Number two is excellent products or services that consumers will use and need more of.

Number three is the pay plan–how even and fair and generous overall is the distribution? This is really crucial as the pay plan represents exactly how you’ll get paid–or not get paid. There are really only two questions to ask regarding this: How many pennies out of each sales dollar get paid back to the distributors each month, and how fair is the distribution of these pennies between the old members and the new members?

Number four is the integrity of the company and the management. As much as possible, investigate the experience of the CEO, their experience in the network marketing industry, and their background. Have they been successful in other companies in the industry? Do they have a good reputation?

Number five is momentum and timing. Look at where the company’s at, what’s going on with the company, and if it’s growing.

Number six is support, training and business systems. You may have chosen a great company with excellent management, products that make a difference, a pay plan that’s uniquely fair and very generous, and momentum and stability, but if you don’t have a system in place that works, all of that doesn’t matter. Most companies will have a transferable training system that they use, and that’s where mentorship comes in.

Practice what your upline teaches

To succeed, you need to be willing to listen and learn from mentors. The way this industry is structured, it’s in the best interests of the network marketing veterans in your company to help you succeed, so they’re willing to teach you the system. Whatever your mentor did to become successful, it’s very duplicatible, but you have to be willing to listen and be taught and follow those systems.

The higher-ups. It can be called various things, but the general term is the “upline,” meaning the people above you. How supportive are they? Do they help you put a plan in place? Do they followup and stay in touch with you? Are they as committed to your success as they are to their own? You should be able to relate to the people in your upline and be able to call them at any time to say “I need some help.” How much support there is from the people above you in the company is very important.

Take up the lead with your downline

There’s a term in the network marketing industry called “orphans”–when somebody is brought in and then the person who brought them in is just so busy bringing in other people that they don’t spend the time to teach and train [the new person]. You should be prepared to spend at least 30 days helping a new person come into the industry–training them, supporting them and holding their hand until they feel confident to be able to go off on their own. You really need to ask yourself, are you willing to do that? Are you able to do that? This is really about long-term relationship building. It’s not about just bringing people into the business and just moving forward. It’s about working with these people and helping them to develop relationships.

On the net

People are utilizing the internet as their main marketing tool. You can set up your site with autoresponders so when you capture leads, the autoresponder can follow up with that person. One of the greatest keys to success in this industry is follow-up. Many people will have someone call them who’s interested or they’ll call the person and say they’re interested, but then they don’t follow up with it. Automation on the internet has allowed a much more consistent method of following up.

The only drawback with the internet is people who utilize it to spam. If there was one thing I could put forward to say, “Do not do” when utilizing the internet as a marketing tool, it’s spamming because that can give a very bad reputation not only to you but also to the company you’re working with.

Taking care of business

This is a business, and just like if you were running a franchise or a storefront, you should have an accountant. You have all the same write-offs tax-wise that you have with running a full-time business, so it’s very important to do your research prior to getting involved, before you start making money from it. How is that going to affect you tax-wise? What are your write-offs?

Don’t quit your day job…yet. Never leave your full-time position unless you’re absolutely certain that the income that’s coming in with this company is going to be there. Be sure that you’ve been with the company for awhile and that you know it’s a stable company, and the income that you’re earning is equal to or greater than the income you’re earning from your job before quitting.

Success!

Recruiting through Social Media

Have you ever tried sponsoring new people in your organization through social media?

When recruiting through social media, such as Facebook, your fans like to see real content.

Post content with personality & content that’s interesting. Also content with useful resources or tips and content that’s unique.

This is why you want to create your own unique images. Don’t just re-use the company’s branded content. I know Facebook will rank images that are used by lots of people lower than unique content. Use unique images! Your own images!

And when you have plenty of interesting and unique content on your business page, you’re ranked well by Facebook. When that happens, Facebook is more likely to show your followers any branded content when you do share a company video or image.

If you want to actually get results from social media in your network marketing business, then start raising more curiosity that does not allow them to do their own independent research.

I finished watching an incredible training with Network Marketing trainer, Ray Hidgon.  I learn so much every time I listen in to his trainings! Take a look at his blog. Wonderful information on building a big business.

Do you ever wonder the best way to get results by recruiting through Social Media? Check out his social media blog posts for some incredible information. Ray Higdon Blog
